“Losing control”

I must admit up front that I am generally not a huge fan of “smothered” burritos. But this offering from Taqueria El Sabor certainly made a dent in that position. I ordered the adobada which, to my understanding, is pork marinated in a chili sauce. It was my first time having this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The spice was not overwhelming and the flavor of the pork blended nicely with the rice, beans, and other fillings.

In fact, I have very few criticisms of this burrito. Very reasonably priced, fresh, fast, tasty, and filling. In fact, my only real issue was I couldn’t pace myself and inhaled this much to the chagrin of my stomach later that night. Overall a very strong contender.
